Describe yourself in three words.
Fun, passionate, nerd

What trait do you like most about yourself?
Fearlessness – I love to attempt new things, and I’m not afraid to embarrass myself in the process.

How long have you been modeling, and how did you get started?
I’ve been modeling since I graduated high school in 2004.  My mom entered me in a beauty pageant (my first one!) when I was a senior, and I won a modeling contract.

What are some of your modeling highlights so far?
August issue of Fashion Wrap Up with TAVIK Swimwear and MadrinDesigns, CYPHAN spokesmodel, Miss World’s Fastest Drummer, WNDE Sports Girl, and working with LadyLash are my favorite highlights.

What do you do for fun?
I love doing anything outdoors – rock climbing, hiking, metal detecting (the nerd thing), and swimming are my favorites.  I also read, try new recipes, and decorate when I have time.

What is your best beauty secret?
Coconut water!  Hydration, electrolytes, and potassium are major benefits from drinking natural coconut water.

What are some of your upcoming projects?
This is my busy season as a safety coordinator, but I’m still fitting in a few shoots and making appearances as a Zippo Hottie.  The shoot I’m most excited about revolves around a woodland creature mask.

Do you have any advice for aspiring models?
Don’t show up late or be a no-show for an event or a photo shoot!  Also, ask for references if you are unfamiliar with a photographer.  If you can, have your own model agreement written up so that you know exactly what all of the language means before you sign.

Why do you love 12VSpotlight?
I love how the spotlight plugs into the cigarette lighter, so I can always have a charged mini-flashlight on the go.
