How did you get into light graffiti?
I started studying photography at Stevenson’s college 2 years ago. I stumbled across an image done by Michael Bosanko, a light man sat in a chair outside. I hadn’t seen anything like it before and was intrigued from that moment on. Since then I’ve been playing around with lights, making my own, and learning all the other skills of photography.

Describe your work/style in three words:
Daring, artistic and creative

Who has influenced you and your work?
I was originally inspired by Michael Bosanko, and more recently, TCB has been quite inspirational. I like to see people push the boundaries.

What are some interesting projects you’ve worked on?
I found doing CD artwork interesting and good fun to do. I find a lot of musicians are interested in my style of work, which suits me, as I find them quite rewarding. Merging nude photography and light graffiti is always interesting, too.

What are some of your upcoming projects?
I’ve got an all night session planned for next week. I have these nights every now and again. It’s good chance to meet up with friends and have a good laugh.

Do you have any advice for people who want to get into light graffiti?
My advice would be to make your own tools. I think the best way to stand out from the crowd is with your own unique light sources. There are a lot of people trying out light graffiti, and a lot of people doing it with the basic lights… Be unique – get creative.

Why do you love 12Vspotlight?
I love spotlight because it gives light graffiti artists some exposure, and with a good selection of categories, it’s always got interesting reading.

Who do you want to give a shout out/ big ups to? I’d like to give a shout out to Murray, Paulish, Jamie, Damon, Rachel, my assistants, and friends.
