Describe yourself in three words.
Funny, sweet, nice

What trait do you like most about yourself?
Having the ability to make others laugh

How long have you been modeling, and how did you get started?
I was 20 and entered a model search where I had to pay $500. Then, they had gotten me an agent where I had to pay another $2000 and did nothing for me. As I was about to give up, I went downtown with my comp cards and individually handed them out to REAL agencies who then started sending me out on auditions. A few years later, I was able to quit having side jobs and made enough money to do this full-time.

What are some of your modeling highlights so far?

  • National ad campaigns for Olay Cosmetics, Lays, Pepsi, Motorola, Walgreens, CVS, Medela, Walmart, Seventh Ave, Kohls, Ashley Furniture, Bacardi, and Miller Lite
  • National commercials for Budweiser, Cricket Wireless, Garmin, Wahl Clippers, 2016 Olympic Bid, Sears, and Kmart
  • Deal or no Deal video game
  • Numerous industrials
  • Recently was on Vh1′s reality show “Scream Queens 2″

What do you do for fun?
Spend time with my daughter, play Wii, and travel

What is your best beauty secret?
Fake eyelashes, black liquid eyeliner, pencil in eyebrows while all keeping the look natural

What are some of your upcoming projects?
Currently working on the new feature film “The Thief”

Do you have any advice for aspiring models?
Yes, do not give up if someone tells you no.  And don’t show up too natural.  They would always tell me show up wearing no make-up. You have to look and feel beautiful if you want to book jobs.  Make-up is fine – just don’t over do it!  Also, don’t let height discourage you.  I’m 5’4″ and have been very successful as a model.  It’s called print modeling.  You won’t find yourself on a runway, but you will make tons of money and see your face in magazines and in stores!

Why do you love 12VSpotlight?
Because it empowers and inspires people to go after their dreams and work towards there goals.  Sometimes when someone is looking to model, they don’t know where to turn and scared they may end up spending a fortune. 12Vspotlight is somewhere they can go for great advice and everyone on here has been in their shoes!

Do you have any closing remarks?
I am happy to do the interview with you and really hope to inspire a younger generation of aspiring models. If I can do it, they can. When you have a dream, it’s always in your hands to make it happen. Nothing will just come to you. Have patience, work very hard, and then it will come.

I have the pleasure of knowing Sarah and it has been amazing watching her grow as an actress and model over the past few years overcoming all adversity and challenges along way.
She is a great talent and extremely versatile, I’ve never seen her not succeed at something she’s tried.
Beyond her beauty, her personality can win over anyone.
Being in the industry myself, it’s always comforting when you find a real down to earth person like Sarah who is as beautiful and talented as she is, it’s not easy to come by.

All the best to you Sarah, you deserve it!
