Spotlight (TM) Scoops Another Pair of SEMA International Media Awards at Product Launch

2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, Nov 3-6 2009, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas USA.

For Immediate Release

The World's Largest Automotive Show paid homage to one of the World's smallest rechargeable L.E.D. lights once again as Argentinia and Canada bestowed International Media Awards on 'spotlight' ™ - last year's "Best New Interior Accessory".

With 3 brand new accessories to add to the range, 2010 looks set to be bigger and better than ever before. The 'headband' and 'barkeep' - a silicone holder for the small L.E.D. flashlight allowing the user to attach it to any number of objects - are both included in the new 'adventure' kit, bringing the total number of kits now available up to 7.

Bill Reimann (President of 'spotlight' ™) attended the SEMA show personally. "This is our third year here at SEMA and this show really is the most important date in our trade show calendar - everyone is here!" reports Bill. "Everyone seems very excited about our new products, from distributors to end users and fans we like to call 'illuminaughty'.We've been receiving requests from outdoor enthusiasts the World over, asking for more ways to include spotlight ™ in their daily activities, such as walking, hiking and climbing. The headband was an obvious choice, but the barkeep has been the real surprise - people keep finding more and more ways to use it!"

Another new release for 2010 - debuted at the SEMA show this year - are the company's new 'color caps'. Offensive Coordinator Matt Swisher spoke from spotlight's ™ China office in Zhuhai, Guangdong about the new 'color caps'. "The 'color caps' comprise a silicone cap that is easily fitted and removed and 5 interchangeable lenses." said Matt. "One is a diffuser, offering a softer more widespread beam - ideal for reading or hobbyists. The real surprise has been with light graffiti. We've had some fantastic photos sent in from light graffiti artists around the World using our new 'color caps' to create some amazing works of art. They are quickly filling up the photo galleries on our new web site" Matt reported.

Brandologist Mark Clulow spoke about the value of kits and what they mean to the new web site. "Our kits are great starter packs for people. When I first started to use the various accessories that were available for my spotlight ™ it was quickly obvious that different product combinations would have different applications. The kits make it easy for people to have everything they need to 'get lit' ™" he said, coining one of the company phrases. "Our newest - the 'adventure kit' is perfect for the outdoor-type, always on the move and needing everything to be as simple and to-hand as possible. That is the driving force behind our new accessories and this great kit."

Bill went on to reflect upon the awards presented to spotlight ™ for 2009. "We're very grateful to Argentina and Canada - two important markets for us - for the awards they have given us. Thanks to their love of the outdoors and respect for green technology, Canada continues to be a big fan of spotlight ™. Argentina is a relatively new market for us but has already shown strong signs of fast growth. Again, it seems clear that the more environmentally friendly aspect of our products appeals to a great deal of Latin American countries."
